With the transference of authority for the United Nations forces UNPROFOR to the NATO, IFOR, the “Aragón” agrupation was ordered under french command in the “Salamander” Division take the watch control of the Sprska Republic deployed detachments in Trebinje Y Nevesinje.
Whit is transform in brigade and reinforced by a tactical group of “Castillejos” brigade of cavalry and whit a battery of the GACA (Artillery Campaign Group) XLII.
Along his task were involved in serious incidents in the city of Mostar how the firefight against the administrator of the city, named by the European Union, and the evacuation of the members of humanitarian organizations from the city what scape hidden in the BMR armours. The unit finish his mission in April of 1996.
