Really identity symbol of the Civil Guard, FERPRAD offer in this figure the possibility to lend a rightful homage to everything what significance this armed institution. Historical and unmistakable, was the own Ahumada´s Duke, the founder of the corps, what had the idea of this emblematic hat of three pikes.
His constant aware was what the corps had a uniform whit an severe aspect, elegant and showy. From this original idea and after successive evolutions, from 1899 is authorized the use of a hat made in cork or cartoon whit a cover in dark varnish, leaving the felt for added protection in case of bad weather.
In this way what was a solution of circumstances is transformed in an obligation of uniformity, been the varnish in black colour the material used for make the emblematic three-cornered hat what we know in the actuality. FERPRAD had reach a exactly reproduction what is visible in the varnished glitter of the figure.
